The following is how the guild does DKP. If you have any questions regarding DKP or loot, please feel free to send dkp officer a tell anytime ingame or on vent, pm on forums, etc. Any disputes/issues regarding DKP must be brought to dkp officer attention ASAP, don’t wait a few days. This is to keep it fair, but we are human and do make mistakes and I want any mistakes resolved quickly.
We assign DKP per Tier and ONLY used in its respective Tier(Can’t use T4 DKP for T5 DKP etc) and they are broken down as follows:
Tier 4 – Gruuls Lair/Mag
Tier 5 – Tempest Keep / SSC
Tier 6 - Mount Hyjal/Black Temple/Sunwell
Checking your DKP:
Goto http://www.raidincorporated.com/dkp then with the combobox under DKP Group you will want to select what Tier content we are fighting at the time. Default is at ALL. Please be aware of the amount of DKP you have when bidding for an item. I do check everyone’s bids.
Assigning of DKP:
DKP is applicable only to 25 man raid instances only. 5 and 10 mans are roll based(/random 100)
DKP is awarded in a few different ways:
1. If you show up to the entrance, ready to go with flasks/consumables/pots etc, and for some odd reason we don’t have enough people for the raid, you will be assigned 5 DKP per the Tier content.
2. If you show up to the entrance, ready to go with flasks/consumables/pots etc, and for some odd reason we don’t have room for you in the raid and are FROM THE BEGINNING ready to replace someone, ( that means u are there and ready to start the raid on time not 1 min late ) you will get 10 DKP when we kill a boss per the Tier Content.
a. Please send a tell to dkp officer when this happens so u can get you're credit.
3. If you are in the raid and ready to go with flasks/consumables/pots etc and we kill a boss, you get 10 DKP per boss kill in the Tier content being worked on.
How the DKP works:
Players may only bid DKP as stated on the guild website. Please be aware of how much DKP you have when the raid starts. Again, if you are unsure how much DKP you have etc, get with a raid leader before the boss fight and they will go over it with you.
Players CAN’T bid DKP earned during that night’s raid.
If it's a player’s first run with the guild, they cannot bid for any items because they have 0 DKP, even if the raid had just killed a boss.
-Only exception to this if NOONE can use the item and you will be deducted dkp that would be gained from that raid. This mainly applies to Players of Initiate status, see next rule
Players of Initiate status, CAN'T bid tier items until they are of Raider Status. The only exception to this if noone of Raider Status puts a bid in for an item.
Minimum DKP bids for items is 10. If bids are tied, a roll-off is used to determine the winner - winning roll wins the item, and pays with the bidded DKP amount.
Highest DKP bid will pay the 2nd highest bid +1. If only 1 person bids, they pay 10 DKP.
If you bid more DKP then you own, you will be (/G KICKED ). Harsh we know but we are here to kill bosses and not to be Loot theives.( per ORICAL ) : I WILL NOT HAVE THEIVES OF ANY KIND IN MY GUILD.... Check the website before or during the raid for the amount of DKP you have, again we do check everyone’d bid with every loot DROP.
Do not speak during DKP bids - do not toss hints, or moans, or anything that can make other people wonder what action you're doing - I don't want anyone to get upset because of what someone said during bidding.
Every player that starts a raid ontime gets 5 dkp and is still in the raid at the time the raid is called will get 5 dkp, those players that switch out to let other players get a chance for loot will also get 5 dkp...
---Examples of DKP---
1 - orical signs up for a raid. orical isn't needed for the raid, so he sits out. He parks his main and logs him out and gets on an alt, but stays in vent. The raid kills 2 bosses, and at each kill the raider leader verifies that orical is available, and he is. The raid team earns 20 dkp for killing the 2 bosses, as does orical for taking the time to make himself available incase the raid needed him.
2 - There are 2 bidders; mini bids 30 DKP, jo bids 35 DKP. Striife wins, and it costs him 31 DKP.
3 - There are 3 bidders; mini bids 30 DKP, jo bids 35 DKP, Orical bids 400 DKP. Orical wins and it costs him 36 DKP.
4 - There are 3 bidders; mini bids 99 DKP, jo bids 35 DKP, Orical bids 100 DKP. Orical wins and it costs him 100 DKP.
5 - There is 1 bidder; orical bids 50 DKP. orical wins and it costs him 10 DKP.
